Three This Month: Beer, BBQ & Historical Cheer

Start your summer off right with three can’t-miss events this June.

New Hampshire State House Bicentennial Week Celebration [Concord]

Celebrate 200 years of history with the New Hampshire State House this month. Join in on the week of events based around New Hampshire’s history and all the state has to offer today. From historical reenactments to a street market lined with local vendors, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Be sure to take a walk-through tour of the State House and hear all about the oldest state house in the country that is still up and running today.

Great American Ribfest and Food Truck Festival [Merrimack]

Come hungry and leave happy at this year’s Great American Ribfest and Food Truck Festival (formerly the Rock’n Ribfest) where the barbeque and beer will be plentiful. Live bands Friday through Sunday will be the soundtrack to your weekend of fun, hosted at the Budweiser Brewery in Merrimack. With an area just for kids and events for all, this outing is one the whole crew can enjoy – great company and even better fare.

New England Brewfest [Lincoln]

Sip your way through the summer’s premier event for beer lovers: New England Brewfest, the daylong outdoor festival boasting the best brews from in and around New Hampshire – with at least 24 breweries already on tap! Lumberjack is this year’s theme, so throw on your favorite flannel and get ready to indulge in beer, wine, hard tea, and seltzer tastings, with the addition of alternative drink options this year so those not-so-hop-inclined can join the party, too. Buy tickets online in advance and get information on the shuttle to take you to and from the the scenic Loon Mountain Resort venue.
