Three can’t-miss November events from across the state.
Fall Family Farm Day [Troy]
Every year, The Inn at East Hill Farm opens up their working farm to hundreds of families. The farm day offers a taste of days gone by with activities for kids to try like milking the cows, grooming ponies, and even churning butter. The day also sees modern-day fun and games like a ping pong and dodgeball tournament, pony rides, and “meet the animals” sessions.
11/23 – 12/1
Bektash Feztival of Trees [Concord]
This “fez”-tival rings in the state capital’s holiday season with hundreds of tinsel, light, and ornament-adorned trees and wreaths on display at the Bektash Shrine Center. While touring through the festive displays, you can grab some treats from the Candy Cane Café and of course, take pictures with Santa.
Jingle Bell Chocolate Tour [Jackson]
This chocolate-infused jingle bell tour could get just about anyone into the holiday spirit. There is, of course, an abundance of homemade chocolates to try and buy, but the main draw is the Austrian horse-drawn sleigh ride through the quintessential New England Village of Jackson. At each designated stop, the riders ring their jingle bells as proprietors of local businesses bring out homemade chocolates and treats! Tickets for this unique chocolate festival sell out quick so get them while you can.
